A roundtable of ideas and answers
Representatives from the NCDA section host a forum for nature center issues, operations, and ideas. Led by representatives from a range of centers, the session promotes communication and stimulates discussion.
Nature centers share many objectives but vary widely in size, operations, and resources. During previous sessions presented by NCDA officers, participants requested an annual continuation of this popular session. The session features a roundtable facilitated by representatives of different types of centers. Discussions will focus on previous ideas including grant possibilities, community partnerships, curriculum-based programming with schools, comprehensive & master planning opportunities, and promotion of resource sharing and networking. This session is a forum where individual NAI members can address concerns, share their ideas with peers, and take home valuable insights that are pertinent to their interpretive needs.
